Adult Programs

Adults Experiencing ADHD (registration deadline November 20, 2024) 

18+

Have you been diagnosed with ADHD or have symptoms and would like to understand more? Are you interested in connecting with other community members to discuss how ADHD impacts your life? This 1.5-hour presentation on the topic will offer education, coping tools, and strategies, as well as support for individuals experiencing ADHD in their lives.

Healthy Relationships (registration deadline November 20, 2024) Beiseker office

18+

In our Healthy Relationships group we’ll discuss what’s healthy and unhealthy in relationships. We’ll learn the essential components of the relationship with ourselves and our relationships with others. We’ll explore our emotions and values and learn about the impact of self-care and self-compassion in our self-esteem and overall emotional state. We’ll discuss the role of communication and boundaries in our relationships and explore conflict management and resolution.

Women Supporting Women in Healing from Abuse (registration on-going)

For women 18+

Have you been subjected to abuse (emotional, sexual, financial, psychological, physical, and/or spiritual) in a relationship? This group will discuss what is family violence, barriers in leaving, boundaries, beyond trauma, gender oppression, roles of culture and environment, parenting in adversity, anger and moving forward.

Children’s Programs 

Wonderful Walkers (registration deadline November 15, 2024)

For parents/caregivers and children – cruisers (able to move around independently) and walkers up to 24 months.

Do you spend your days with a busy toddler?  Parents/caregivers and your little movers and shakers, up to 24 months, are invited to participate in this 5–week group.  While engaging in gross motor activities with your child, you can learn about the developmental stages your child is experiencing and the best strategies to parent your little ones.  Older siblings are not able to attend.  Younger siblings must register.
